Vegetation restoration is an important tool for habitat recovery, providing vital structure and resources for a diversity of biota and ecological processes. A critical step within the restoration and habitat recovery process is to  provide key biological resources such as advanced habitats in the short term. 

What are advanced habitats 

Advanced habitats are a collective term used for nest boxes and habitat stacks 

Why do we need to install advanced habitats 

Through historical land clearing and logging, a portion of mature trees that provided natural habitats and nesting sites have been lost.
