Council strategies

Council's strategy to help manage the impacts of coastal hazards on our region.

As part of the Design Strategy, council endorsed the Sunshine Coast Design book at the Ordinary Meeting on 27 November 2019.

The integrated transport strategy responds to the challenges and opportunities facing our region and outlines our vision to address the Sunshine Coast’s transport needs.

Council adopted the Sunshine Coast major events strategy 2018-2027 at its ordinary meeting on Thursday 14 June 2018. On Thursday 24 August 2023, council adopted the ‘refreshed’ Sunshine Coast major events strategy 2018-2028 (2023 refresh).

Council adopted the stormwater management strategy at its Ordinary Meeting on 19 August 2021 to set the direction for stormwater management in the region.
